Andy Cameron, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Cameron earned Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from UW-Milwaukee. He has worked as a psychology instructor and addictions researcher but his primary focus is conducting therapy with individuals and families.

Phoebe, K9, TDI, AKC

Phoebe is an approximately six-year-old shihtzu who has been working with clients at Compass Counseling Wausau for two years. She works with Dr. Cameron and specializes in adults and adolescents with behavior or anxiety issues. She enjoys working with younger children, too, but sometimes gets a little nervous if they get their face too close to her, or try to pick her up. Phoebe was rescued by one of our employees, Rhonda Singstock, after being abandoned in a garage in Minnesota. Phoebe is a registered therapy dog with Therapy Dogs International, and is also a certified Canine Good Citizen through the American Kennel Club. In her free time, Phoebe enjoys eating, sleeping, smelling new things and watching the Packers.

Mark Becker, LCSW

Mark holds a Master of Science degree in Guidance and Counseling from UW-Stout. He has completed extensive post-graduate training, in Brief Solution Focused Therapy and EMDR. Mark has over 20 years experience providing psychotherapy in a variety of settings. Currently, he primarily works with adults and adolescents.

Liz has a wide range of education and clinical experience. Liz received her Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Lakeland College and her undergraduate degree from the University of MN. She has over 11 years working in mental health in the areas of Residential Treatment, Outpatient Mental Health, College Counseling and Employee Assistance Programs. Liz uses a holistic, strength-based approach to therapy when working with all ages and areas of concern.

She obtains an Academic Certification for the Treatment of Juvenile Sex Offenders and will be completing Psychosexual Evaluations for Juveniles.
